For me, entrepreneurship is in many ways another form of creative expression. It’s about seeing a possibility for something new in the world and being consumed by the energy to create it. My ventures in the wellness space sprung from exactly this sense of urgent desire to bring to life a private vision.

Whether creating a restorative wellness destination or developing a nourishing botanical drink, the goal is to create something that not only succeeds as a sustainable business but also genuinely enhances people’s lives. Something where the energy of the original intention is palpable in every aspect of the finished enterprise: heart-centred, restorative and, with luck, inspiring.

The Retreat New Forest

A Sanctuary for Rest and Restoration

I launched The Retreat New Forest in 2019 after my experience of cancer, which inspired me to make transformative holistic practices available to all.

The Retreat building had at one time been the Meyrick family’s Dower House and so I wanted to bring back that personal resonance and see it flourish again, by creating a friendly, supportive space, welcoming and restorative.

I am endlessly inspired by everyone who is drawn to the Retreat – either as part of their deeper healing journey or simply as a place of friendly connection.

We are now in the process of launching two further retreat destinations: The Retreat, Bournemouth and The Retreat, Anglesey.

Expanding the Vision

Building on the success and ethos of The Retreat New Forest, we are excited to announce a new location, bringing our unique blend of wellness and nature to more people seeking a profound and restorative reset, in both body and spirit.

Located on a private woodland estate in the heart of Anglesey, Treiorwerth is an elegantly restored house offering complete seclusion. With its grand interiors, extensive grounds, and proximity to the coast, it is the perfect setting for our next chapter in holistic wellness.

The Retreat Bournemouth

Located high up on the city’s east cliff, with fantastic views over the open ocean, the Retreat Bournemouth is a creative and cultural hub, with wellbeing at its heart. Expect to find classes and retreats, movie screenings, live events, heart-warming food and a great place to stay.

Positive Potions

Nourishment from Nature

I launched Positive Potions after restoring our historic five-acre walled garden on Anglesey. We hand-make delicious ‘drink-drops’, or tinctures, using our abundant harvests of organic botanicals. The vision is to open people’s eyes to the power of plants – both as everyday medicine and best-health-ally.

Each blended flavour is designed to support your wellbeing in a different way and all are immune-boosting, mood-enhancing and extremely delicious. They’re a bit like having a botanical garden in your pocket!
